Gull Rock - Trebarwith

Ruby Cottage is deceptively spacious. There is a small, cosy living room with beamed low ceilings and a slate fireplace. Steep, narrow stairs lead up to the double bedroom with views across fields down to the slate quarry. Both of these rooms form part of the original cottage built in the mid 19 th century so have very low ceilings – tall people beware!

Downstairs there is a single bedroom leading to a twin bedroom as well as a recently refurbished bathroom (with electric shower). Also on the ground floor is the spacious fitted kitchen with a traditional slate floor – it has a dining area and leads to a pretty paved garden with mature borders and plenty of space to sit outside and relax.

The normal change-over day is Saturday (other days by arrangement over Easter, Christmas and long weekends in the low season), you can get into the cottage after 3pm and we ask you to leave by 11am. Bedding, linen and towels are provided and included in the price. The cottage will be thoroughly cleaned before arrival and for guests staying longer than one week, a change of linen and clean provided each week. A cot and highchair can be provided on request. Ruby cottage is pet friendly and actively welcomes dogs accompanied by their owners.

The nearest shop is at the garage about 100 metres away, another very well stocked grocery shops is about 500 metres away beyond the post office. Smoking is not permitted inside the cottage.
